He's Back!

BRRING! BRRING!

hello?
Yes this is Brit

What?
Are you serious?

School is out for the summer?!

Your going to take this over worked zombie and I get my husband back?

Whew! Thank goodness.

p.s. I read an article in a magazine yesterday that claimed couples that use pet names have happier more fulfilling relationships. This made me feel very happy and a little smug because my husband uses many different names to get my attention. He rarely calls me by name and when he does I think something is wrong because it sounds so formal. The article proceeded to tell stories from readers that had the misfortune of having a terrible pet name that they couldn't shake. One reader said that she used to call her husband pooh bear, then it evolved into pooh and now she calls him poop and it's stuck. Needless to say it was very entertaining to read. So I'm going to share with you some of the pet names my husband calls me and ask that you return the favor. I'll just leave you with a few.
Baby Doll (sounds weird but he totally pulls it off.)
Sweetness
Bdizz(used to be Bdizzle but to save time it has morphed into the shorter version)
Transportress (this is the female version of the transporter. He only calls me this when I'm driving)

Beauty

I don't know why but I'm in a bad mood today. Could it be that I ate my body weight in sweets yesterday? Maybe. It's really no particular reason it's just one of those days that feels a little off. Until I read this
I know out of the few of you that read my blog also already read hers, but she is such a beautiful person and I've learned so much from her. Now it seems like such a waste of a morning to spend it in a bad mood for no reason at all. I love this life, I'm so blessed and I enjoy it so much. So I'm no longer in a foul mood. It's a gorgeous day and there is so much beauty to enjoy today. So go enjoy it!

P.S. It's my nephew, the chessman's birthday today! Happy Birthday!

A Wedding With A Side of Independence

As most of you know, my dear sister Alyssa is getting married on Friday! We thought it would never come but the big day is finally upon us. It's been a flurry of colors, planning and bridal showers for her and I think she's grateful that the planning is coming to a close. It makes me think when I was engaged and wish I had documented and cherished each and every moment of it. It goes by so fast. By the way, I went tanning to prepare for wedding photos and my poor pasty skin hasn't seen the sun in so many months. I'm so burnt. (ouch!) I'm going to bathe in aloe vera when I get home. Anyways, to get to the point her last shower was on Saturday. Her soon to be sister in laws set up the bash for her. It was beautiful and she got some very thoughtful gifts.

It had an Asian theme. Complete with sushi and take out boxes with fortune cookies. The food was delicious. Jon even made an appearance to move everything to their new place.Brave man to not be scared off by that many women, he's a keeper.

One last side note. A lot of exciting things have been going on for me lately. It's made me think about how if I have faith my Heavenly Father takes care of me. I've been very blessed and I'm just trying to take it all in and think about all of the little things I'm able to have and do that I should be more grateful for.
I'm finally on the road, look out!

Happy Birthday Brit!

For those who are accustomed to reading Brit's posts here, this is actually her husband posting this time. Somehow, I figured out how this thing works, so I've commandeered the blog today to wish Brit an extremely happy birthday. She is now 21 years old! So everyone who reads this, make sure you send her a big happy birthday shout out. She deserves it. She's the smartest, funniest, hottest, most awesome eternal companion in the world, and I feel tremendously blessed to have her.

I hope you have a wonderful day today darlin'. I'm so proud of you for all you have accomplished and all that you are doing. I love you!

Love,
Heath
XOXOXO
