Happy

I've been shamelessly neglecting my blog and I'm sorry for that. I just haven't had anything really blogworthy going on. I guess your wondering about the picture. Your probably thinking 'why did she put a hugely obnoxious picture of herself in mid laugh with gum in her mouth on here?'. Well I realize all that's wrong with this picture and don't think I look particulary good in it but it perfectly expresses how I feel today. Haven't you heard? It's a great day today. I'm very very blessed with much more than I deserve. I found myself singing 'come on over' by Rob Thomas at top volume, that's how good today is. Anyway, I hope you all are having as good of a week as I am.


a few last minute notes:

-Countdown is on. Alyssa is getting MARRIED in three weeks! woo hoo!

Happy Birthday Noni!

Today is Robyn Kerri Goodey's Birthday! That's my mom. But she's better known as Noni around the family. I think one of the grandkids started calling her that and it just stuck. Anyway, I decided to have a little interview with her to find out a little more about her.


Me: How old are you today? (I know this but it's for the sake of the interview)
Noni: 52
Me: What are you looking forward to in your 53rd year?
Noni: Moving to a house
Me: What was your favorite birthday?
Noni:I used to love to ski, and I always wore a bandanna around my neck(it was the 70's) The guy I was dating surprised me with new ski bibs and bandannas in about 12

colors it was awesome, I think I was 16 or 17. Or when I was 8 or 9 my parents gave me a black cockapoo puppy, very cool.
Me: How are you going to treat yourself?
Noni: going out to Hamiltons and the 007 movie, and getting fingerprinted for my LPN license.
Me: At 52 what is the most rewarding thing in your life?
Noni: My kids and grandkids by far
Me:What is one of your goals for this year?

Noni: Get Hiss married off and finish my RN prerequisites.


Hiss is Alyssa, another name from the grandkids. She in no way resembles a snake. Well Happy Birthday mom! I hope you have a great day! A short interview but to the point. I'll have some pictures later this week.

Caitlin

There isn't a lot of time to blog during the holidays and I didn't get many decent pictures anyway. But this is my sister in law Caitlin. These pictures are from the Christmas party 08'. She looks awesome so I thought I'd share. Her freckles are so pretty, I'm jealous.
